The new issue of Style Sample magazine comes out on July 6th! Expect to see even more of your favorite bloggers, the best shopping, fashion photography and illustration, and great advice about making your blog even better.
Here’s a sneak peek at the cover:

We’re also trying something a little different: in addition to the regularly scheduled content in each issue (which will always be a part of the free online magazine), there will be additional premium content in the print edition. The premium content delves deeper into one particular area of style, focusing on careers in the fashion industry and delivering useful, actionable advice from professionals about how to get your foot in the door.
Ever thought about becoming a personal stylist?
The premium content in the upcoming issue focuses on personal styling, and we’ve been hard at work conducting research and interviewing professional personal stylists in different cities around the world, from LA to New York to London to Paris.
Everyone we talked to was surprisingly candid, and dished about everything from how they got started (there’s nothing wrong with starting with your sister’s hairdresser’s cousin!) to how they set up their business. If you’re interested in styling, you don’t want to miss this feature!
We can’t wait to share this issue with you, so be sure to follow us so you’re the first to know when it’s ready!

Last weekend, I finally had a chance to really take time and flip through the print edition of the newest issue of Style Sample magazine–and I have to say, it looks great!
Individual issues are mailed in a sealed poly bag for protection–no scratches or tears here!

Images are clear and bright:

Text is crisp and legible:

As a lifelong magazine fiend, I love coming home to find a pristine new magazine in my mailbox (even though I already know each issue practically by heart!) and it’s just nice to feel the weight of the paper and leisurely flip through each page.
You can order print issues for about $8 here. Enjoy!

You know those past issues you’ve been meaning to buy to show your contribution to grandma? Or to your well-meaning technophobic friend who can’t seem to figure out how to look at Style Sample on the interwebz? Maybe you want the tearsheets to add to your portfolio?
Well, there’s good news! MagCloud is offering 25% off all magazines ordered now through January 1st, 2010, so you can get past issues of Style Sample (they’re just five bucks) at discounted prices.
I guess mom and dad know what they’ll find under the tree this year…
